Multiple Deputies Killed In Explosion At Sheriff's Training Center

An explosion at the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Biscailuz Center Training Academy in East Los Angeles on Friday morning (July 18) resulted in the deaths of three sheriff's deputies. The explosion occurred around 7:30 a.m. local time, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

The cause of the explosion is still under investigation, and details remain limited. The facility, located at 1060 N. Eastern Ave., has been evacuated as authorities work to secure the area. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is responding to the incident, and ambulances were dispatched to the scene for injuries related to the explosion.

KTLA reported that a loud noise was confirmed by sheriff's officials, but further information is still being gathered. Meanwhile, Fox News confirmed that the explosion resulted in the deaths of at least three deputies.
