Sean L. Nelson-age 52-No Contest plea to Aggravated Possession of Drugs-F5, found Guilty, PSI ordered, sentencing 5/22/25 @ 2:30 p.m.

 

Sean L. Nelson-age 52-No Contest plea to Tampering with Evidence-F3, found Guilty, PSI ordered, sentencing 5/22/25 @ 2:30 p.m.

 

Richard T. McMahon-age 59-Guilty pleas to Twenty-Seven Counts of Pandering Sexually-Oriented Matter Involving a Minor of Impaired Person-F4’s, PSI ordered, sentencing 6/5/25 @ 1:30 p.m.

 

Salisha Darby-age 35-No Contest pleas to Aggravated Burglary-F1 and Felonious Assault-F2, found Guilty, PSI ordered, sentencing 6/12/25 @ 10:30 a.m.

 

Ashton J. Myers-age 35-Gulty plea to Aggravated Possession of Drugs-F3, PSI ordered, sentencing 6/18/25 @ 1:30 p.m.

 

PLEA/SENTENCING:

 

Kevin V. Snyder-age 46-Guilty plea to Unauthorized Use of Property-M1 and sentenced 2 years of probation with 6 months at CCNO suspended in the event of a probation violation, no similar violations, be of general good behavior, pay $1,600.04 in restitution to victim, Costs, (costs and restitution due w/in 90 days).

 

THE FOLLOWING PERSONS HAVE RECENTLY BEEN SENTENCED IN THE DEFIANCE COUNTY COMMON PLEAS COURT:

 

Randy J. Bond-age 69-Sentenced for Six Counts of Gross Sexual Imposition-F4’s to a total of 66 months at ODRC, jail credit for 482 days, was classified as a Tier I sex offender – requiring registration for a period of 15 years, costs. (From May 12, 2023, through July 25, 2023, at his residence, in Defiance, Bond engaged in sexual contact with a female juvenile, who he compelled to submit by force or threat of force.)

 

John C. Reynolds-age 46-Sentenced for Passing Bad Checks-F5 to 2 years CCS with 12 months at ODRC reserved in the event of a violation of CCS, pay $4,811.31 in restitution to victim, no contact with victim, costs. (On May 6, 2022, with purpose to defraud, Reynolds used a check to pay for services totaling over four thousand dollars, at a business on W. High St., in Hicksville, knowing that the check would be dishonored.)
