A Defiance County Grand Jury has indicted 8 persons after cases were presented by Prosecuting Attorney Morris Murray. The indictments include charges of Attempted Rape, Aggravated Burglary, Strangulation, and Assault.
24 year old James A. Mansfield of Defiance was indicted for Attempted Rape, and two counts of Strangulation, stemming from an alleged incident on October 3rd at a residence on East Second Street in Defiance.
40 year old Ryan E. Gibbs of Defiance was indicted by the Defiance County Grand Jury for Aggravated Burglary, Felonious Assault, and Having Weapons while under Disability.
34 year old Fauna Plotts of Defiance was indicted for two counts of Assault on a Law Officer.
And 22 year old Kristopher C. Patrick of Garrett, Indiana was indicted by the Grand Jury in Defiance County for two counts of Domestic Violence, along with another count of Strangulation. The alleged crimes occurred October 8th on Oak Street in Hicksville.
