UNDATED, (WTVN)--A new poll in the crowded race for the Republican Nomination for US Senate in Ohio gives the candidate endorsed by former President Trump the lead, with one week to go until Election Day.

The poll from Fox News gives author and entrepreneur J.D. Vance the lead over former Ohio Treasurer of State Josh Mandel, among Republican primary voters, 23% to 18%. Back in March, Vance only had 11% support from that group.

In the most recent poll, taken between April 20th and 24th, businessman Mike Gibbons has 13% support, with State Senator Matt Dolan at 11%, and former Ohio Republican Party Chairwoman Jane Timken at 6%.

Pollsters point out the lead for Vance is within the poll's margin of error, and 25% of respondents remain undecided.

42% of respondents say Trump's endorsement of Vance made them more supportive, with 23% saying it made them less supportive.
