NOVEMBER 2021 UNEMPLOYMENT NUMBERS TUMBLE ACROSS NW OHIO, PUTNAM COUNTY #1

The unemployment rates for November in every county of northwest Ohio tumbled lower than the previous month. With the state jobless rate at 4.8%, every northwest Ohio county was well below that figure. Leading the way was Putnam County, who recorded the lowest unemployment in the entire state for November, at 2.1%.Williams County was lowest in the Four County region at 3.2%; while Defiance County’s jobless rate hit 3.4%, and Paulding County was at 3.1.Henry County reported an unemployment rate of 3.7%, and Fulton County was at 3.8%.

The highest jobless rate in Ohio for November was Monroe County at 5.7%.
