WILLIAMS COUNTY MAN KILLED WHILE ATTENDING TO HIS DISABLED VEHICLE

A man attending to his disabled vehicle was killed in an early morning accident in Williams County Friday. The highway patrol reports the incident occurred on State Route 107, near Route 49 in Florence Township at 6:19am. 33 year old Nathan Gamble of Montpelier was attempting to put gasoline in his vehicle that was disabled along the side of the road. Gamble was struck by a westbound pickup driven by 66 year old Craig Kaiser of Edon. Nathan Gamble suffered critical injuries, and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup was not injured. The Williams County Sheriff’s office and EMS assisted at the scene.
