NEW MULTI-USE STRUCTURE PROPOSED FOR HENRY COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS

The Napoleon Council Municipal Properties and Economic Development Committee got a chance to learn more about a proposed addition to the Henry County fairgrounds. The Monday presentation was made by the Henry County Ag Improvement Association, who is looking to construction a large multi-use facility on the fairgrounds. The structure is estimated to be 40,000 square feet in size. The price tag would likely be in the neighborhood of 2 million dollars, and the group has already kicked-off fund-raising activities for the project. One of those is this Saturday, as the fairgrounds plays host to a putt-putt golf scramble event with food included.
