PAUL WAYNE STEPPING DOWN AS VARSITY BOYS BKB COACH AT TINORA H.S.

The search is on for a new boys basketball coach at Tinora High School, after Paul Wayne announced his resignation this week. Coach Wayne has guided the boys hoop program the past 5 years for the Rams, and has a total of more than 40 years of coaching at the high school ranks. The former All-American lacrosse player at BGSU became one of the most successful high school coaches in the state, racking up over 530 career wins. Paul Wayne coached the Holgate Tigers to a state title in 2004, and another trip to the Final-Four in 2007. But he also took 13 teams to the Sweet-16 in the regionals. And he had an incredible streak of 6 straight district championships at Holgate.
