FULTON COUNTY COURTHOUSE OPEN HOUSE

The renovation of the historic Fulton County Courthouse is complete, and the county commissioners are inviting the public to take a look.An open house has been scheduled for Monday, January 6th from 4 till 7pm.The commissioners will be on-hand to answer questions, along with the clerk of courts, and Fulton County judges.The renovation was an 11 month project with restoration of the common pleas courtroom, new heating and cooling systems, additional technology and security features, along with installation of a new handicapped accessible elevator, and office updates.Funding was provided by the capital improvement fund, along with grants from the Ohio Supreme Court.There was no bond issue or money borrowed.The Fulton County Courthouse in Wauseon was constructed in 1872, and is located on South Fulton Street.Again the open house for the renovations is set for January 6th.
