SEPTEMBER 2019 RAINFALL TOPS AVERAGE, 9TH STRAIGHT MONTH THIS YEAR

Just like it has all year, the rain gauge was overflowing in northwest Ohio for the month of September.The total precipitation for the month was 4.18 inches, which is about 1.2 inches above normal.There were only 8 days of rain, and the biggest day was the last day of the month, when 1.41 inches fell.So far in 2019, northwest Ohio has recorded 41.7 inches of rain.That’s about 13.4 inches ahead of the normal pace for this area.In fact, rainfall has been above average in each of the 9 months this year.
