Sentences were handed down in recent cases from Defiance County Common Pleas court.56 year old Regina Newsome of Defiance was convicted on six counts of Aggravated Trafficking in Drugs.Newsome was ordered to spend 54 months in prison, and to pay $3,300 in restitution.
51 year old Stephen Shaw of Oakwood was sentenced for Attempted Burglary, Attempted Improper Discharge of a Firearm in a school zone, Improper handling of Firearms in a vehicle, and for Operating a vehicle under the Influence.Shaw was sentenced to 18 months in prison.
And 29 year old Sebastien Guel of Defiance was sentenced to 30 months in prison after his conviction for Operating a Motor Vehicle while under the Influence.
