NAPOLEON COUNCIL APPROVES NEW CONTRACT WITH POLICE UNION

Wages and personnel adjustments were all part of a new contract between the Napoleon Police Officers Associatioin, and the city of Napoleon.That agreement was approved by Napoleon Council Monday night, including a 2.25% wage increase for each of the next three years. The contract also calls for the addition of a school resource officer for Napoleon Area Schools, and a canine unit.

It’s likely the new school resource officer would be working in the Napoleon area school this fall.

And Napoleon Council approved re-appointments to the city’s housing council, including Lori Siclair and Kevin Yarnell.Joel Miller was re-appointed to the Henry County Board of Health for a new term.
