SENATOR BROWN PROPOSES LEGISLATION FOR MEDICARE AT AGE 50

A number of U.S. Senate Democrats, including Sherrod Brown from Ohio have introduced legislation to allow Americans the option of picking-up Medicare at the age of 50.Senator Brown stated, this bill would help millions of people, strengthen the Affordable Care Act, and get America closer to a goal of making sure everyone has health care coverage.

The release did not indicate how the addition of beneficiaries age 50 to 64 in the Medicare program would be paid for.
