At least one person is dead in a fatal fire that struck in the community of Edgerton around midnight last night. Four local fire departments were sent to the home on West Vine Street in Edgerton, which is along U.S. 6. The Williams County Sheriff’s office reports one person died, and two other victims were transported with injuries. Route 6 is now open to traffic after being closed overnight, and the state fire marshall’s office is investigating. Responding the structure fire were Edgerton, Bryan, Edon area firefighters, along with Butler, Indiana.
