The Defiance City Schools hosted an information gathering day Wednesday, as they search for a new superintendent. The sessions were actually led by the Ohio School Board Association, which is assisting in the search. They gathered information from staff members and the public in what they would like to see in the next superintendent. Applications for the position are being taken through February 4th, in hopes of finding a new administrator for Defiance City Schools by early March. Mike Struble the current superintendent will retire from the district on June 30th.
