DEFIANCE WOMAN HURT IN CRASH IN LIBERTY CENTER

Law officers in Henry County are warning residents to keep their doors locked for vehicles and homes, after an attempted burglary was reported Wednesday morning.    The resident reported someone tried to enter the house at 6:16am, and was scared away by their dog.    The subject fled from the scene.

Just after 9am yesterday morning, a crash was reported in Liberty Center.  43 year old Patricia Vance of Defiance lost control of her vehicle on state route 109 near Damascus Street, colliding with a tree.  Vance was injured and transported to the Henry County Hospital by Liberty Rescue.

Napoleon Police had quite an altercation last night at 900 American Road that started around 11pm.  49 year old Karen Olson of Minnesota was taken into custody, and hit with a number of charges including Felonious Assault, Public Indecency, Resisting Arrest, and Obstructing Official Business.  Olson was transported to the regional jail, pending an appearance in court.

                   Napoleon officers made another arrest on Yeager Street Wednesday, when 50 year old Mark Murar was charged with Assault.

          And at 3:36pm yesterday, 38 year old Sara Castrejon of Napoleon was taken into custody, and wanted on a warrant from Defiance.  Castrejon was turned over to Defiance County law officers.
