A single vehicle accident just before 10pm last night sent a Bryan driver to the hospital. The Henry County Sheriff’s office was dispatched to U.S. 6 and state route 34 in Ridgeville Township, where 43 year old William Vrabel of Bryan lost control of his auto, striking a fence and utility pole. Vrabel was injured and transported to Defiance Mercy Hospital by Ridgeville Rescue. He was also cited for driving under the influence.
And the sheriff’s office investigated a theft at 103 West Young Street in Liberty Center at 10:43am Tuesday, where a backpack was stolen from a vehicle.
