The city of Napoleon is re-evaluating their charges for EMS runs.   The discussion on the charges is due to news that Medicaid and Medicare will no longer pay the 75-dollar co-pays for rescue runs.   At a special meeting of the Napoleon Safety and Human Resources Committee Monday night, there was dialogue about whether to include that co-pay charge in bills being sent to rescue run customers.   No decision was made on this issue.

Napoleon Council is also talking about updating the city’s personnel code and employee manual, since the latest upgrade was 2002.   A number of state and federal law changes in personnel matters has taken place since that time.
