A consortium of HenryCounty entities is moving forward with plans to construct a new water treatment plant that will serve the northern part of the county.   Henry County Commissioners hosted a meeting Tuesday to talk about financing the project.  Commissioner Glenn Miller says the county is in the right situation to coordinate this project.

Once all agreements are in place, HenryCounty will take-over the assets of Napoleon’s water system, which includes the current plant, the water towers, and pipelines that spread water throughout the area.
