Out of 75 applications around the state for a 20-million dollar pool of grant money, the city of Wauseon has been awarded $300,000 for their downtown revitalization project.   The Fulton County Commissioners were informed of the award in the community development block grant program.   Property owners can apply for funds to make upgrades to their buildings in downtown Wauseon.

The target area of downtown Wauseon included in the grant projects will be from the Huntington Bank to the North, and the courthouse area to the south.   More details on how local property owners can tap into the grant dollars is available by contacting Fulton County Commissioners.
