The FourCountyCareerCenter board of education worked-on personnel issues, and approved payments for insurance and technology at their recent session.  A four-year lease with the Apple Company was approved, at a cost of close to $64,000; which will provide for about 450 I-pads for students that do not have their own device.                  Another $40,450 was approved for insurance coverage for property, casualty and fleet.   That figure is about $2,300 higher than last year’s premium for the FourCountyCareerCenter.

The project house for carpentry students has been selected for the coming year, and its located in Evansport for Scott and Jodi Bernath.                         In personnel action; the FourCounty board of education accepted the resignation of social studies teacher Dan Mundrick, after 6 years in the district.            And new special education contracts were approved for Kristen Boyer and Jennifer Nagel.  Bill Parsley was also transferred to an intervention specialist position.

Opening day for students this fall at the FourCountyCareerCenter will be August 19th.
